We invite HODs and teachers of Marine Education or Science to contact us about our initiatives to educate share our love and knowledge of The Great Barrier Reef. In addition to our Marine Biologist for a Day experience, we provide custom tours for educators with our Marine specialists who cover our role in contributing to the health and sustainability of our Moore and Arlington Reef locations in this magnificent World Heritage Area. A back-stage pass for educators to experience the subject content for students including: Reef  Ecology Impacts of Climate Change Marine Life Identification Water Quality Crown of Thorns Starfish.

"MARINE BIOLOGIST FOR A DAY" PROGRAM

We have created a unique kinesthetic learning experience for students live on The Great Barrier Reef.

From our Moore Reef Pontoon, your group will love a truly unique experience with a meaningful purpose: collecting data that will monitor the health of the Great Barrier Reef.  Enter the behind-the-scenes world of a Marine Biologist as they work to nurture and protect this natural wonder on-location at Moore Reef. Students will learn about the Eye on the Reef program, create by the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park Authority, and take part in the monitoring work they do. Learn about reef ecology, impacts of climate change, marine life identification, water quality, Crown of Thorns Starfish (COTS) and so much more.

INLCUDES
In addition to all of the standard inclusions of our full day Moore Reef experience, Marine Bio for a Day guests will receive:
- an exclusive presentation by fully qualified Marine Biologist
- introduction to Eye on the Reef program
- instruction on how to complete the rapid monitoring survey
- a Guided Snorkel Safari tour of the reef environment - Q&A Session
- Certificate of Participation / Professional Development Hours
